My wife and I just watched The Warriors yesterday, and she made comments about the graffiti all over the subway cars. I informed her that that’s how it was back in the ’70s and ’80s and she was appalled that it wasn’t done just for the movie. lol

Moved to NYC in ’88. Yeah there was way more crime (oddly enough no one wanted to send in the National Guard), but it was a fun place, and more affordable for working people than today. I’d go back there in a second.
